John Penn is founder and CEO of InspireVR, an award-winning creative development studio focused on virtual, augmented and mixed reality solutions. Under John’s leadership, InspireVR has grown to a full-service immersive video production, post-production and 3D audio team.
He is a Grammy and Stellar Award nominated supervising producer and mastering engineer. He has been a partner manager at Intelsat, the worlds largest communications satellite service provider.
Partnered with Samsung Emerging Product Division, and NextComputing, John has recently led the design and launch of the first dedicated mobile mixed reality film production truck in the southeast US, capable of both onsite/remote mixed reality and 4K 2D/3D film production.
